The Soup Kitchen
The Soup Kitchen in downtown Benton Harbor feeds a hot meal to around 200 men, women, and children every day. St. Augustine’s prepares and serves a meal on the fifth Saturday of the month. We see this as an extension of our Neighborhood Food Pantry mission – churches should feed people by inviting people in and by going out to where people are. We’re blessed to use our building as a community resource and we’re equally blessed to leave the comfort of our church home to serve others.
